The Napa Valley has always been a very special place for people, and very much close to my heart. There is a beautiful world here, full of the wonders and beauty of nature. The valley is filled with an aliveness and the energy of creativity. It is also filled with a beautiful magic, an enchantment, that if you’ll take a quiet moment, it can find you.
When I was growing up, some of the locals called this valley, “the valley of the clouds.” Our sky is a gorgeous blue, and the clouds have become more than just castles in the sky at times even with the naked eye, taking on gracious formations that really make you wonder that there actually is more to this valley and the world around us, than we could ever have imagined, that is fascinating and subline.
For those who are unfamiliar with the reference to Nature and Her Spirits, and I love that phrase, there is a world unknown to most that exists here. It’s a beautiful world. Not only full of the wildlife in the abundance of nature that together we share, but nature spirits too. Yes, there are gnomes here in the Napa Valley, not carved by human hands, but real gnomes. So welcome to a window of my world, that I wish to share with you, in the hope you can sense and see just how wonderful this valley and the world around us actually is. From time to time, I will be adding more writing about my experiences, sometimes with real life photos of those experiences, and artwork. Thank you for visiting my website.
